In a cool greenhouse or propagator you can sow tomatoes and peppers from February. Sow into small flowerpots or modules full of John Innes Seed Sowing Compost with Sure Start.
- Good varieties to grow include Unwins Pepper ‘Bolivian Rainbow’, the Organic Pepper ‘Californian Wonder’, and the new Pepper ‘Demon Red’, Tomato ‘Berry F1 Hybrid’, Tomato ‘Sweet Million’, Tomato ‘Alicante’, Tomato ‘Moneymaker’, and Tomato ‘Sweet Olive’.
