Busy Lizzies

Sow Busy Lizzie seeds from February to April in John Innes Seed Sowing Compost in the greenhouse or on a kitchen window sill.

Harden off throughout May and plant out once all risk of frost has passed. Busy Lizzies enjoy sun or partial shad and require well drained soil. If planting in borders incorporate organic matter such as organic Farmyard Manure or Soil Conditioner first. Plants will also thrive in pots or hanging baskets.

Protect your plants with Eraza Slug and Snail Killer .

Feed throughout the season with Nutri Plant feed or All Purpose Soluble plant food. If growing in containers mix Feed All Slow Release granules or tablets into the compost when planting.

Dead head regularly to encourage prolonged flowering.
