Cosmos

Sow Cosmos seeds from February to April in John Innes Seed Sowing Compost in the greenhouse or on a kitchen window sill.

Harden off throughout May and plant out once all risk of frost has passed. Cosmos thrives in a sunny spot with well drained soil. Incorporate organic matter such as organic Farmyard Manure or Soil Conditioner first to improve soil structure and boots nutrient levels.

Feed throughout the season with Nutri Plant feed or All Purpose Soluble plant food.

Dead head regularly to encourage prolonged flowering.
