Marigolds
Sow marigold seeds from February to March in John Innes Seed Sowing Compost.
Harden off throughout May and plant out once all risk of frost has passed.
Marigolds thrive best in full sun. Simply add compost, such as Multipurpose with added John Innes, to the planting holes.
To boost flowering feed with Nutri Plant Feed or Feed All Slow Release and dead head regularly.
Protect from slug damage using Eraza Slug and Snail Killer or Earth Matters Slug Blocker Gel if grown in pots.
