How to Grow Basil

Basil is a particularly popular herb to grow.

It’s a great to add into Italian dishes and you can use up large amounts sprinkled over salads, or even make your own pesto with it!

Being very tender, it’s best to sow seeds in pots of Gro-Sure Seed & Cutting Compost under glass.

Then plant out in June, once all risk of frost has passed. Alternatively, grow on the kitchen windowsill, cropping the leaves regularly

Keep in a sunny spot and gather leaves as required.
