Summer is here. It’s that magical time in the garden when all your hard work starts to pay off. The garden is bursting at the seams, not just with colourful plants flowering now but also with plants that are readying themselves for their summer performance and beyond. The vegetable garden is bountiful, the soft fruit fruitful and the herb garden should be forever in fragrant foliage. It’s heaven on earth.
There is plenty to do in the garden all summer, but don’t get too bogged down with it. Tackle each project in turn and be ready to respond to whatever the weather presents. Make sure you take time out to enjoy morning coffee on a sunny patio, lunch al fresco and afternoon tea at every opportunity. Lazy moments spent in a summer garden are worth their weight in gold, steal them at every opportunity so you can look back at the end of the year and say, “I really enjoyed my garden this summer.”
Don’t forget the garden health team at Westland are right behind you. If you need some expert advice or have a gardening dilemma to deal with, get in touch via the Garden Doctor and the team will do their best to find the right solution to your problem.
