Answers I recently purchased your Lawn Feed, Weed and Moss Killer but I don't have your Westland Lawn Spreader, can I use the product in other spreaders?
Yes, this product is compatible with all spreaders that have a setting for an application rate of 35g per square metre.

Children and pets may use the lawn once the product is watered in as this will activate the release of the chemicals which then leach into the lawn. If no rain falls within 48 hours of applying the product, water the product in with a hose or watering can to allow the product to start working. However, with smaller animals such as hamsters or rabbits which graze on the lawn, it is recommended that you keep them off the lawn for approx 5-7 days.

Firstly sweep up any loose product and dispose of this in a bin, being careful not to touch your clothing. Scrub the area with a brush and plenty of cold water. Do not use bleach or any other chemical as these may fix the stain permanently. Keep scrubbing and applying plenty of water to the affected area.

I recently applied your Lawn Feed, Weed and Moss Killer and regularly compost the grass cuttings and use it as a mulch for my vegetable patch. Will it be safe to use the cuttings?
Unfortunately no. It is not recommended to use the first four grass cuttings from your lawn after applying Lawn Feed, Weed and Moss Killer as there is a high possibility that traces of the chemicals/product will still be in the grass/soil. However, the cuttings can be composted and will be safe to use after 6 months composting.

I spread Lawn Feed, Weed and Moss Killer on my lawn a few days ago but didn't use a spreader. My lawn now has some brown/black patches. What has happened and what can I do to remedy it?
This may be perfectly normal, if the lawn had a high proportion of moss in it, this will have been killed out selectively leaving the grass and dead moss in brown patches. If this is the case rake out the dead moss and leave for two weeks before re-seeding the bare patches with lawn seed. If the grass as well as the moss has blackened, you may have applied a high dose in patches, resulting in blackened grass. If you can still see product on the soil surface use a rake to try and spread this more evenly across the lawn and water the area well to help distribute the product more evenly. Rake out any dead grass and moss then leave for two weeks before re-seeding the affected area with lawn seed.
