Where can I use Hero?

Hero can be used on any outdoor hard surface. Including patios, driveways, decking, block paving, tarmac, concrete, fencing, walling, UPVC, garden furniture, brick and roofs. Always test a small, inconspicuous area first.

How do I apply Hero?

Hero Paving & Decking Power Cleaner Super Concentrate: Remove all debris from the surface to be treated. Add 100ml (5 capfuls) of Hero Paving & Decking Power Cleaner to 5 litres of clean water in a watering can, or to 2.5litres of water  in a sprayer. Mix well and apply ensuring the area is completely saturated. 100ml of concentrate cleans up to 10 square metres.

How long does it take to work?

You should see the effect of Hero within 1-3 days. On heavily soiled surfaces a second application may be required. In the case of heavy moss growth, brush away to expose the root system before applying.

Do I need to use a pressure washer after use?

No. There's no need to scrub the surface clean or use a pressure washer. Hero does all the hard work for you. Simply apply and leave to dry and within 1-3 days the green growth will disappear revealing a clean and protected surface.

How does Hero work?

Hero works to destroy the special 'glue' that algae uses to stick to outdoor surfaces. It's this 'glue' which makes the surface very slippery. Once Hero is applied, the algae can no longer hold on and gets washed away in the wind and rain.

How long does it last?

Hero protects the surface from re-growth for up to 9 months.

Is Hero safe for pets and plants?

Pets need not be excluded from the treated area once dried. In the event of contact with grass or plants, flush over the area with clean water.
