Nasturtiums: How to grow

Nasturtiums: How to grow

Nasturtiums are great for ground cover or used as climbers.

They are also great for companion planting with cabbages, as they deter cabbage white butterflies.

Sow Nasturtium seeds in March or April in the greenhouse or on a kitchen windowsill in Gro-Sure Seed & Cutting Compost or April to June directly where they are to grow.

Harden off over a couple of weeks before planting out. Incorporate organic matter such Soil Conditioner first to improve soil structure and boost nutrient levels.

Feed throughout the season with Gro-Sure All Purpose Plant Food.

For a beautiful shade of orange try ‘Nasturtium Burning Embers.’
