How to Feed Your Lawn

How to Feed Your Lawn

Feeding your lawn is the key to establishing healthy, green grass. Ideally lawn feed should be used regularly as part of your lawn maintenance programme. By doing this the lawn will become thicker and greener and unwelcome weeds and mosses will be less likely to take hold

Step 1

If weeds and moss are a problem treat your lawn in spring with Aftercut All in One. This will feed the lawn whilst killing unsightly weeds and moss. Dead moss can then be raked out and, if necessary, patches can be over-seeded. Try Westland Sure Start Fast Acting Lawn Seed for great results.

Step 2

Lawn care is simple with Westland Aftercut. Simply apply the granules after mowing. This can be done every 3 to 4 weeks throughout the summer months. Using a blend of essential nutrients to feed and condition your lawn. Aftercut contains balanced nitrogen to prevent scorching and keep grass green and in top condition. Added Potash, Iron and Magnesium helps to create a hard wearing lawn that suppresses weeds and moss.

Step 3

If the ground is compacted then aerate it with a hollow tine aerator or use a garden fork. Make regular holes all over the grass surface and then brush Westland Lawn & Turf Dressing into the holes. This will help to create a thicker, healthier lawn and also improve drainage.
