Crocus

Crocus are ideal as a reliable and easy to grow addition to your spring display. Plant bulbs in full sun or part shade between August and November for effervescent additions in February and March.

Bulbs should be planted 7.5 cm deep (3 in.) with spacing of 10 cm (4 in.) in borders or in pots using Bulb Planting Compost.

Unwins have some great varieties available in garden centres from late August. Crocus Large Flowered Mixed contains whites, mauve, blue, purple, yellow and striped flower-heads.
