Daffodils

daffodils DaffodilsDaffodils are great for planting in beds and borders as well as in pots, providing much needed colour during the Spring. They require well drained soil in sun or light shade.

Unwins daffodil bulbs are available in garden centres from the end of August until October/November. Look out for great varieties including Tete-a-Tete perfect for containers and hanging baskets and Cyclamineus Rapture great for naturalising in your lawn.

Bulbs should be planted from August to November. Add Bulb Planting Compost to planting holes or use in pots. Cover bulbs to twice the height of the bulb and space 10-20 cm (4-8 in.) apart.

Deadhead the flowers when they have gone over and feed with Nutri Slow Release Plant Food to ensure they flower again the following year.
