Nerines
Plant in well drained soil in full soil. A sheltered spot is preferred. Nerines can also be grown in pots using Bulb Planting Compost or West + All-Purpose Compost & 4 Month Feed.
Plant April to May 10cm(4in) deep and 15cm(6in) apart.
In warm areas the bulbs can be planted shallowly with the tip of the bulb at soil level. In cold areas some winter protection should be given, covering with a mulch of organic matter is ideal such as organic Farmyard Manure.
Nerines make excellent long lasting cut flowers in Autumn.
