Peonies

peonies PeoniesThe best time to plant peonie crowns is early autumn. They should be planted approximately 2.5cm (1in) below the surface. Pot grown peonies can also be purchased in garden centres. Plant in well drained fertile soil in a sunny location. Mulch with organic Farmyard Manure or Westland Multi-Purpose Compost with added John Innes in spring, sprinkling with Fish Blood and Bone or Growmore to feed.

Once in bloom feed using Nutri All Purpose Plant Food and dead head regularly to prolong flowering.
