weeds Weeding & MulchingWhen preparing a new area for planting trees, roses and shrubs ensure all are weeds removed . Weeds compete with your plants for the valuable resources of nutrients and water. Use Resolva 24H ™; it contains the effective weed control, Glyphosate that controls the weed right down to the roots and a contact weedkiller that provides visible result.

Having removed all the weeds reduce the risk of them returning by mulching beds, borders and containers.

Apply mulch around the base of trees after heavy rainfall to suppress weed growth, improve the soil moisture retention and insulate the roots from extremes of temperature. For the best results and great appearance, opt for a large, chunky mulch such and Bed and Border Chipped Bark or Plant Protection Bark for large borders and areas, and a finer mulch such as Decorative Mini Bark for small borders.

Other decorative finishes can be obtained by using Terracotta Decorative Wood Chip. With all the usual benefits of bark this product also provided long lasting colour for stunning displays.
