The Plant Rescue service is available to anybody who has a mobile handset that has MMS/Picture Message functionality. Please consult the phone manual or contact your network operator if you are unsure.
Either try removing your battery from your phone and look for information found in this location, or alternatively contact your network operator or the handset manufacturer.
- Take a picture of a plant, or choose one you've saved on your phone
- Then create a MMS/picture message
- Ensure the message contains a description starting with the word 'RESCUE'
- Send the message in the same way you send a text to 60300.
An MMS is often called a picture message, simply take a photo using the camera on your phone and send the photo together with a description.
First check, are you able to send MMS messages to your friends, if so please send an email to rescue.support@connect2media.com detailing the problem, your phone number, handset and network operator and we’ll try to resolve asap.
If you unable to send any MMS messages you probably don’t have the correct settings on your phone. Don’t worry in most cases, this is free and easy to address. If your network operator is listed below you could attempt to request new MMS settings over the Internet. Alternatively please contact your network operator who will be able to confirm your MMS settings.

Yes, you can attach multiple photos within your MMS/picture message. There is no need to send them in separate messages.
Unfortunately the service doesn’t currently support video submission. In the event of receiving a video the service will unfortunately reject the enquiry.
Please consult your phone manual and ensure you take a picture with the highest resolution. Also, to get a good photo please make sure the environment is well lit so our experts can provide accurate feedback.

The maximum image size is 2MB.
The Plant Rescue service supports the submission of images in png, jpg and gif format.
The telephone number is requested in order for our panel of Plant Rescue experts to call you if necessary to request further information relating to the problem. Your telephone number will never be used for anything unrelated to your Plant Rescue submission.
If our Plant Rescue experts are able to help we will often suggest possible suppliers/stores where you can source the recommended products.
