Rhododendron, Azelea & Camellia Granular

Rhododendron, Azalea and Camellia Plant Food has been formulated with a very low chloride content for feeding all types of acid loving plants. In alkaline and chalk soils, ericaceous plants find it difficult to take up essential nutrients such as iron, and soon become pale and sickly in appearance. The plant food contains iron, magnesium and trace elements, which keep foliage green and healthy. As well as providing essential trace elements, the plant food contains nitrogen, giving the plant a boost each time you feed. It also contains a balance of phosphorus for healthy root growth, as well as increased levels of potassium to enhance flower production, adding vigour and boosting disease resistance.

Uses:
Ideal for Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Camellias, Heathers, Hydrangea, Magnolias, Skimmia, Pieris and Orchids.

Application Rate:
40g per metre squared.

Apply:
From March until September. For optimum use apply at the start of the growing season and again after flowering.

Caution:
Keep granules away from plant stems and do not allow granules to be in direct contact with any foliage. Use the recommended concentrations. Increasing the concentration may result in damage to the plants. Store in a safe, dry place out of reach of children, pets and foodstuffs. Wash hands and exposed skin after use. 
 
Is there anything I can use to feed my Camellias that will also help to keep the soil pH low?
 
Plants growing in acidic soil usually have to work a bit harder to get the nutrients that they need from the soil, so it's important to provide them in any easily absorbed form and to support the environment in which they grow. The new Rhododendron, Azalea and Camellia Plant Food not only feeds acid loving plants, but also aids acidification of the soil. These two actions will help to keep your camellias and any other ericaceous plants healthy. It contains added magnesium, iron and trace elements to help your plants produce glossy green foliage and healthy, colourful flowers.
