Identify the weed to be treated. It needs to be isolated from garden plants that you want to keep. This means you cannot use this weedkiller on weeds growing in the lawn or within a burgeoning flowerbed.
Choose a still day and spray the weed out of direct sunlight. Fully coat the leaves with the spray but take care not to let it run off onto the ground or drift onto adjoining plants.
The effect of the weedkiller can be seen after just a few hours. Leave the weed to die down completely before carefully removing with a trowel.
