With a garden birds hunger threat looming, experts are urging householders to continue feeding garden birds, due to a cold start to the spring.
Cold weather is likely to lead to a shortage of the insects and plants. Many normally appear at this time of year and form a sizeable chunk of a bird’s natural diet. This shortage could leave many garden birds hungry at a critical time, while they try to breed and raise young.
