Matt Brash: Our Chief Vet
Dr Matthew Brash, celebrity vet has been exceptionally busy for the last number of years, not only with TV appearances and book writing but also spending his time as a Government Advisor at the FERA Wildlife Research Centre.
Matt qualified as a vet in 1987 and has since gone on to create a portfolio that so many children and indeed adults could only dream of, it seems like Dr Brash has the perfect career for any animal lover.
With such a busy schedule we are extremely lucky that Matt is able to find time to work with us at Westland. The advice and guidance Matt provides is invaluable across Peckish, Nature’s Feast and Bucktons. Not only has Matt helped the brands fully understand and promote the importance of correctly feeding and caring for our beloved pet, but he has been busy training both Westland employees and our retail partners on animal welfare. However, Matt doesn’t just lead an advisory role with us, he has been travelling all around the UK giving talks in pet shops and garden centres, and rolling up his sleeves to help us achieve world class products by getting involved with our New Product Development team.
This year at the National Pet Show at the NEC Birmingham on 3rd & 4th November, Matt will be at our Bucktons & Nature’s Feast stand (A301) if you have any questions or need his expert advice for your pet.
Matt has cared for an array of animals, from tarantulas to tortoises and giraffes to guinea pigs. He has worked specifically with ourselves in a multitude of areas such as garden birds, aviary, small animals and racing pigeons. If you miss Matt at one of his many events for Westland and are after some guidance then please send us an e-mail and he’ll gladly offer his advice firstname.lastname@example.org
