A really simple, yet indulgent dessert, perfect for making the most of this season’s strawberries!
Serves 6 people
- One punnet of strawberries
- 6 meringue nests
- 600ml double cream
Wash the strawberries, dry with kitchen roll and cut them in half.
Whip the double cream in a bowl with an electric whisk
Crumble the meringue nests and combine with the cream.
Place a dollop of the meringue/cream at the bottom of each bowl, then a layer of strawberries and repeat.
Finish off with a layer of strawberries at the top, and a little blob of meringue/cream.
