How to protect birds from cats

A pet cat can kill many garden birds in a year. Here's how to protect our feathered friends.

If you own a cat yourself, the most effective thing you can do is keep them in the house at dawn and dusk when wild birds are most active.

Consider putting your feeders at a height or location that's difficult for cats to reach. We recommend positioning feeding stations approximately 2m from cover as allows birds enough space to effectively evaluate their surroundings and also provides a safe place to retreat in the event of danger.
