NEW LAWNS & PATCH REPAIR
1. Preparation
To prepare the ground, remove any weeds and stones, dig over the soil, and rake it smooth and level. Apply a thin layer of Westland Lawn Seeding Soil.
2. Sowing
Apply the seed evenly at a rate of 30g per m2 using the shaker panel or spreader.
OVERSEEDING
1. Preparation
Rake out thatch, dead weeds, and moss. Apply a thin layer of Westland Lawn Seeding Soil.
2. Sowing
Apply evenly at a rate of 20g per m2, using the shaker panel or spreader, paying attention to thin or patchy areas.
3. Aftercare
Press the seed into the ground using a roller or by walking over it. Water the area thoroughly using a fine rose or sprinkler. In dry conditions, water daily to keep the soil moist until the grass establishes. Grass will emerge within 2 weeks, or longer when conditions are stressful. First cut when the grass reaches 5-8cm. Gradually lower the cutting height to around 2.5cm (1inch). Apply a Westland lawn feed after 2 cuts to keep your lawn healthy and green.
