Why Use

New Horizon All Plant Compost has been specially created to be the perfect compost for all fruit and vegetables, herbs, & seedlings. Westland BIO3 is a revolutionary new compost formulation engineered to out perform all peat-based blends. The ingredients start nourishing the plant immediately.

Works best with seedlings, containers, fruit and veg and herbs. Not suitable for ericaceous plants.

What to Expect

You will get great results with this compost. After 6 weeks, we recommend supplementary feeding of nutrient hungry plants with a relevant feed such as Westland Boost All Purpose Plant Food.

When to Use

Use in a well ventilated place and avoid breathing in dust.

Always wear gloves when gardening and wash hands after use.

How to Use

Seedlings / Pricking Out

  1. Hold seedlings carefully to avoid damage
  2. Gently tease the roots from the compost using a dibber or pencil
  3. Space seedlings to allow to grow
  4. Water regularly until ready to pot-on

Potting

  1. Place plant in a new pot with new compost
  2. Fill gaps with new compost, firm down and water
  3. Thoroughly water the plant
  4. Gently tap the pot to remove, shake off loose compost

Planting Out

  1. Dig a hole approx. twice the depth and diameter of the root ball
  2. Place plant in hole with new compost
  3. Fill gaps with new compost, firm down and water

Q. Will my pets or wildlife be attracted to this product?

A. New Horizon All Plant Compost does not contain any ingredients that are attractive to animals

Q. Can I use this compost for my houseplants?

A. New Horizon All Plant Compost can be used with houseplants. However you may want to choose a compost that is more specific to your requirements—for example our Houseplant potting mix.

Q. Can I use this compost for indoor and outdoor grown fruit and vegetables?

A. Yes, you will get great results with this compost. After 6 weeks, we recommend supplementary feeding of nutrient hungry plants with a relevant feed such as Boost All Purpose Plant Food.
