Planting

Loosen contents before planting. Cut open the bag as shown and plant up, loosely firming around the root ball. Water in approximately 4.5 litres of water.

Watering

Check the Erin Super Size Gro’Bag daily. Do not allow the compost to dry out or to become water logged. During the peak growing season watering may be required one or more times a day.

If drainage holes are required, cut two or three slits 2-3cm long in the side of the bag but at least 2-3cm up from the bottom of the gro’bag.

Supporting your Plants

Support plants using frames or canes but take care not to pierce the bottom of the bag.

Feeding

Once the first fruits start to swell, feed with a good liquid or soluble fertiliser. Westland’s Big Tom Super Tomato Food is packed with nutrients for more tasty healthy tomatoes. Start feeding flowering plants 4-6 weeks after planting.
