Soil Improvement
Fork in pellets to condition and produce nutrient rich soils
- One handful of Chicken Manure Pellets is approximately 35 grams.
- You can apply Chicken Manure Pellets in early spring as a base fertiliser to prepare beds for planting. Then reapply every 3-4 weeks during the growing season for stronger plants and better yields.
- Use again in autumn when preparing winter beds.
- Use higher rates for sandy/starved soils and strong/vigorous plants. Use lower rates for rich/heavy soils and small/sensitive plants.
- Apply 2-6 handfuls (70g-120g) per m² before planting.
- Apply 1-3 handfuls (35g-105g) per m² before sowing seeds.
- Apply from March through to October.
Feeding Established Plants
- For planting bare rooted plants, apply 1-2 handfuls (35g-70g) into the planting hole, then sprinkle 2-3 handfuls (70g-105g) over the soil once planted and water in.
- For established plants in beds and borders, apply 4-5 handfuls (140g-175g) per m².
- Use 2-3 handfuls (70g-105g) if plants are small
- Apply from March through to October.
Composting
- Sprinkle pellets into each layer of compost heap to produce nutrient rich compost.
- Apply 1 handful (35g) per m².
- Use all year round.

General Advice
- Store in a dry, frost-free place away from weed killers and other garden chemicals
- Always reseal box after use
- Gloves are recommended when handling this product
- Suitable for use where children and pets are present. However, some pets like to eat manure; in this case make sure all the pellets are thoroughly worked into the soil
- To be used only where there is a recognised need. Do not exceed the appropriate application rate as may result in damage to yur plants.
- Check your vegetables regularly for pests and diseases
- Ensure that dogs do not get access to the packed product by making sure the pellets are well incorporated into the soil

A. Yes, children and pets can go back into the area straight after application
Q. Will my pets or wildlife be attracted to this product?
A. Some pets like to eat manure. Work pellets into the soil thoroughly and water them in well.
Q. What should I do if I put on too much of the product?
A. Remove any visible pellets and heavily water the area to dissolve and wash through excess product.
Q. Can I use this on my lawn?
A. We would not recommend using this for your lawn. Use a fertiliser that has been specifically designed for lawn use such as Aftercut Ultra Green or Safelawn.
